skies but temperatures are dropping. you can see already in the lower 50s. santa rosa and napa around 53 to 55. temperatures from this afternoon. they range from the right around the lower 60s coast side warmest locations inland. and the mid- to upper 70s. remember just last tuesday we had those readings in the upper 90s to over 100 degrees. the cooler temperatures are here to stay with no major heat in the forecast. for tonight we do have this, mostly clear skies, a bit of a breeze out there. tomorrow some morning cloud cover, it'll be mostly sunny. wednesday we do bring in a chance of a few showers between now and sunrise. as temperatures drop off overnight in the inland valleys especially up in the north bay. fog will be forming so visibilities could be coming down once again about a half mile out toward santa rosa, napa and san helena. here's a look at the projected numbers, pretty chilly when you wake up you can see 40s for santa rosa, napa 63 degrees. with at least party cloudy skies and patchy dense fog out there. not much change for tomorrow. there's a weather system in the pacif

record. 101 in santa rosa just shy of a record for you. 100 in livermore, widespread 90s in oakland, hayward. san jose, redwood city, you got to 100 degrees and still a hot one out there in some cases, 90 degrees ant wok, 90 degrees at this hour in livermore, 80 degrees in oakland. 82 in napa, 83 in santa rosa so not too bad there. 85 degrees in san jose. we do have changes in store. way too hot for you. we've got a system here off the coast of southern california. you can even see the cloud formation beginning to build a southerly swell so by tomorrow the coast will begin to cool down first and then that cooler air is going to trickle in. so today we're going to say the heat by tomorrow, though, a subtle change in the temperatures. first there will be a slight cool down followed by a bigger drop on wednesday and you can see the temperatures will continue to fall on thursday. meanwhile tomorrow morning we start out a lot like this morning. low 60s in the forecast with mostly clear skies. 52 degrees for san ra kel, 54 in oakland, 58 redwood city, 60 degrees san jose, 69 livermore and

morning for your side, those readings in the upper 40s to the 50s. 48 in santa rosa, 52 in san francisco, fremont, 60 degrees. tracking the weather system out here in the pacific. the headline, cool to mild weekend. no major heat in the forecast. at least clouds in the morning, partly cloudy in the afternoon. so the temperatures, 60s, warmest locations, reaching the lower 70s. you can see i painted in rain clouds. you don't have to worry about rain chance thes weekend but next week, tuesday and wednesday we are still introducing at least just a chance of a few scattered light showers, not a done deal yet but something to watch out for next week. here is the forecast model. clouds on the increase. right around the bay. clouds hugging the coast. but, still, scattered low cloud deck. and then in the afternoon hours, skies becoming partly cloudy. look at the green contour here. 60s, the yellow in the 70s. these numbers really not a big change. warmest locations approaching middle 70s towards antioch, san jose, 72, fremont, 70, san francisco in the low 60s. we will go with 64. here is a look

in the upper 70s in downtown san francisco. the overnight lows look kind of chilly. 49 in santa rosa. 50 in napa. when you go to school in hayward 56 tomorrow morning. kind of chilly as the kids head off to school. the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting a lot longer. 28 degrees cooler. that's where the fog came from. it came up from the south sort of southerly surge and that's why temperatures in the next couple of days are going to be trending down. 80s, 90s, 100s. we'll get you some low 80s in some hot spots but this low pressure center is the culprit. we're going to be living in this range the next couple of days except the coast we'll be living in the 50s because the fog is going to be a constant player. the forecast model lines up the fog tomorrow morning right there. more than that. i think little misty again be more fog along the beach then by the afternoon temperatures that's the high so those are 70s, those going all the way up so that cool moist air infiltrated the delta or will infiltrate the delta. temperatures in sacramento 70s. 83 in brentwood, 82 in liverm
